Christmas is a fabulous and magical holiday, in which not only the fragrance of a Christmas tree and a frosty breeze is felt, but also a fabulous forest appears in our imagination, the creak of footsteps in the snow is heard, tree branches sparkle with frozen snowflakes, ...

Everything around is the embodiment of a fairy tale that is most understandable to the Russian soul and to everyone who knows or remembers the Russian winter.

And how many more aromas are around, on the holiday of Christmas !!! Those who celebrate this holiday in a country house - the smell of burning firewood is mixed with the smell of pine, and in Orthodox churches - the smell of candles, wax, incense. It is here in the Russian church that you can feel some kind of mystery. Everyone, both children and adults, on the night before Christmas is in anticipation of something unknown and beautiful, even the conversation proceeds somehow in a special way - calmly, quietly or even in a whisper.

We suddenly feel both mutual understanding, and love, and peace in our souls ... It is about this joy in Orthodox churches on Christmas night they sing: "Glory to God in the Highest and peace on earth ...". And we feel the miracle of the transformation of the world ...

The Christmas tree, its amazing and healing aroma, fills our heart with invigorating vigor. "... The aroma of the tree successfully contributes to the development of all other aromas that come into contact with it" - this is how the Russian perfumer K. Verigin wrote. That is why tangerines, apples, oranges, pineapples smell so especially near the tree. Perhaps this was noticed by more than one perfumer, otherwise how to explain the birth of such festive and solemn aromas as chypre.

"... while studying the chypre notes of the perfume, I was both surprised and delighted to discover in them almost the entire aromatic spectrum of the Christmas tree." K. Verigin. In those years, the Russian perfumer named among the best and famous chypre fragrances: "Chypre" from Kochi, "Mitsouko" from Guerlain, Fruit Vert by Florel, Cr? Pe de Chine by Millau, Rumeur by Lanvin. Now, which chypre fragrances do we prefer?

Perfumers develop their fragrances in different ways, but all perfumes with chypre shades subtly emphasize the charm of femininity.
