In Russia, a certain cult of the car has developed, it dates back to Soviet times, when the possession of a car was the dream of most of the Soviet inhabitants. In those days, it was not easy to realize this dream, therefore, when in the late 80s and early 90s the opportunity to have good incomes and freely buy any car appeared, Russians rushed to buy.

This dream-complex was passed on from parents to children, therefore we see a lot of people around who strain, jump out of their pants, but buy the most expensive car they can afford. Or rather, they cannot afford it, but take loans, borrow money from relatives and friends. Having bought a coveted car, people pay off loans and debts for a long time. And by the time they pay off their cars have already aged and need to be replaced, so you have to start all over again.

In addition to excessive desires, most people do not know how to calculate how much it costs them to own a car and what benefits it brings. What expenses does the car bring with it?

The car needs to be regularly refueled with more expensive fuel, from time to time it is necessary to go to the car wash, possibly pay for parking. And then there are taxes and insurance. In addition to these costs, the car is getting cheaper every day.

Calculate the difference between a new car and a three-year-old, how much has your car become cheaper? Divide by the number of days and you get daily losses. In the case of used cars bought from unfamiliar people, additional problems can arise.

If the car is bought on credit, burdens are added in the form of hanging debt.

Therefore, you have to buy a car based on your income. But even if you didn’t borrow money, didn’t take loans, the car brings not only pleasure. Rather, there is very little pleasure from a car, because all your friends will quickly get used to a new car, and it will stop making an impression, and you will have to stay in traffic jams and have to park every day.

Conclusions - many residents of big cities do not need a car at all, it is only a source of stress and unbearable expenses for them. Having calculated the total amount, how much the car costs you, how much money it takes every day, how much it gets cheaper, a reasonable person will understand that it is much more profitable and more convenient for many to use a taxi.

Today you will hardly surprise anyone with expensive cars, and cars such as Renault Megane, Mazda 3, Ford Focus and other similar ones generally cause irritation on the roads, for those who drive a normal car and all these small cars create traffic jams and do not allow them to quickly reach their destination ...

Even for anxious young guys, a car is not necessary unless the job demands it. Gone are the days when the car helped boys get to know girls. Today, a car can only impress dull girls. Or you need to own a new car worth several hundred thousand euros.

In general, if you do not have free money to buy a really expensive car and your lifestyle does not require constant travel, you should not buy Renault Megane, Mazda 3, Ford Focus at all. Cars of this level in most cases are not an assistant to their owner, but a burden and clearly emphasizes his social status - office plankton.
