Instagram in the fashion world and in our lives

The advent of Instagram has changed the fashion blogosphere a lot. If earlier fashion bloggers, in addition to photographs, wrote some texts, sometimes large and serious articles, then with the advent of Instagram, the number of words has greatly decreased on the fashionable Internet.

Many previously popular fashion bloggers could not adapt to new realities and lost a lot of readers, lost popularity. Many of them are still blogging in LJ or blogspot, and maybe they continue to develop stand alone blog, but despite the efforts, the number of readers does not grow. People prefer Instagram.

On the one hand, this is quite normal and understandable - the Internet is developing rapidly, new interfaces and website concepts are appearing. Instagram is very easy to use, any schoolgirl can use it, and besides, knowledge of foreign languages ​​is not important for Instagram!

Therefore, thanks to Instagram, everyone can touch the life of celebrities and fashionistas from all over the world. The photos clearly show what things our favorite star bought, what cakes the fashionable blogger has pleased herself with, and much more. Without further ado, we learn about shopping, news and the lives of a wide variety of people from around the world.

All this is very interesting and exciting, to feel involved in the life of famous people from different countries. It seems that you learn so much and get so many vivid impressions! In fact, this is an illusion, and you practically do not get anything, you just waste your time, because all these events captured in photographs do not make your life better.

Of course, photographs from the life of successful people can motivate you to work on yourself and help you improve your own life. But this is purely theoretical. In reality, most people live just dreams, thinking that everything in their life will someday be. Sometime later, everything will be formed by itself, but for now you can get pleasure from contemplating other people's joys and successes.

For me personally, this is a dubious pleasure, especially since almost everyone on social networks strives to embellish their lives, to show their body and clothes from their best side. All these fitness girls take photos where they are obviously better than in life and in general everyone wants to appear happier and more successful on Instagram.

That is why I don’t have Instagram at all, and I don’t even go there, because really important news will always be covered in serious media, and information useful for my life and work is in books and serious blogs. When it comes to entertainment and experience, I prefer to be guided by the old principles - to have fun and experience in reality. Although the Internet brings me a lot of joy. Even the writing of this text is done with all the heart and pleasure.

Therefore, in our world full of temptations, it is very important to learn how to combine receiving impressions and pleasures with useful things, because we have little time and we need to do everything.
