For example, a chemical reaction called ethoxylation (a quick way to soften harsh ingredients that most cosmetics manufacturers use) produces these harmful components. If you find names like these on the label - oleth, myreth, ceteareth, sodium laureth sulphate, most likely they contain these substances. When using cosmetics, the immediate effect of improving the skin is most often important for us, but what then, and what is the delayed action of health hazards - unfortunately few people are interested in.
