One of the most beautiful constellations of both hemispheres of the sky is Orion. It rises in late autumn and consists of large bright stars. According to ancient legends, Orion was the son of the god of the sea - Neptune, and he himself was a famous hunter, who became famous for his victories over predators. No one could defeat Orion, only the poisonous and evil Scorpio, sneaking up to him, stung him in the leg. Orion died, and the villain fled to the opposite side of the sky.

If you draw a line through the three stars of Orion's belt to the left, you can find brilliant Sirius - the brightest of all stars. You can find many other stars and constellations with which legends and traditions are associated. Among them are stars with well-known names, but most are without a name.
