Gone are the days when gorgeous beauties reigned in the cinema, and at fashion shows, clothes and accessories were demonstrated by exceptionally slender and beautiful models. The world of fashion and entertainment is changing rapidly, in some ways it is getting better, and in some aspects degrading.

Why bring models with serious defects in appearance to the catwalk, models of immense sizes, girls with Down syndrome and various dwarfs?

On the one hand, the jaded audience is tired of leggy beauties. Therefore, designers and marketers are experimenting, trying to surprise the audience, so that they are discussed by all the media and remembered as long as possible.

On the other hand, designers and organizers of shows explain what is happening by the desire to bring the world of fashion closer to reality, so that at the shows you can see a variety of models, because real models are in many ways different from ordinary women.

Beautiful slender models they supposedly offend ordinary women, but why then no one is offended that midgets are not taken to basketball teams? Why are paintings by recognized artists of real value, and not paintings by ordinary people?

Roughly the same is in fashion - the best models should be on the shows, and there is nothing to be offended that not everyone meets these standards.

You should not be offended by fashion brands, but by nature, which did not give you long legs and a beautiful face, or be offended by yourself and your own lifestyle, which does not allow you to look your best. It's just very difficult to see the problem in yourself - it's much easier to blame others, to demand that the world adapt to our shortcomings, than to try to change.

If there is no way to change, maybe it is just worth doing something else? Nature and God created all people to be different, and even people with congenital defects and disabilities can find the best destiny for themselves in this world. A prime example of this is Nick Vuychich, who was born with tetraamelia syndrome, a rare hereditary disease that leads to the absence of four limbs. But this did not stop him from becoming famous all over the world, writing a book and really helping people.

Conclusions - everyone should look for their vocation and purpose in life in order to use the potential given by nature to the fullest. Birds fly better in the sky than swim under water, and fish are only given a little flight over the water surface ...

The designer herself said that with this show she decided to remind the whole world that not only slender and beautiful girls can represent clothes, but also draw attention to discrimination of the rights of people who do not fit into beauty standards.
