It has long been not enough to have a jewelry box containing items made of gold and silver. Today there are many other jewelry and bijouterie that will require a whole chest. In this publication, we will look at neck decorations, the so-called collars - chokers and other neck decorations that resemble collars as much as possible.

A collar - a choker in translation from English is a necklace, a strangler, and a tight-fitting stand-up collar. Necklaces - chokers are made from a wide variety of materials - from textiles, leather, wooden beads, plastic and ending with ivory, pearls, gold, platinum and precious stones. Some collars allow you to adjust the length, so the jewelry can be perfectly adjusted to the volume of the neck.

In addition to the aesthetic component, chokers can carry informational energy load. There are mascots of chokers, and these collars are also loved by followers of some subcultures and simply lovers of unusual images, for example, girls who seek to create an image in the Gothic style.

Initially, chokers were worn by priests and magicians, and sometimes by honored warriors. For some, the collar served as an ornament, talisman and source of strength, while for others it protected the neck.

All this is in the past, not a single necklace will save from modern weapons, and magicians and priests have long become fantasy characters, now the choker serves as an ornament and allows us to create a wide variety of images.
