Recently I liked the store luxurious bed, but upon closer inspection, the bedspread turned out to be even more interesting. It was not possible to take a picture, a saleswoman was constantly circling nearby, and there was a sign on the bedside table - it was forbidden to sit on the bed and take pictures.

The luxurious bed was covered with a fur blanket worth almost 400,000 rubles. The price did not surprise me at all, I had to see everything, but the fur of a cat has not been found in expensive stores for a long time.

In the 1990s, cat fur and dog skins were widely used for a wide variety of garments. Dog skins were primarily used to make hats, which were most often sold under the guise of wolf skins.

The fur of the cat gave less opportunities for deception, because the cat cannot be imagined as a fox or a sable. Therefore, products from a yard cat were proudly called mountain cat fur coats. Sometimes sellers said that it was the fur of a Tibetan alpine cat, and at times they came up with other beautiful legends.

Mountain cats and other feline breeds actually live in China. The Chinese catch all the cats and use them. They do not lose anything - the carcasses of cats go to restaurants, where they cook different dishes from them, and the skins are used for sewing things and accessories.

Only the majority of cats are the most common ones, because there are fewer mountain cats and it is more difficult to catch them. At the same time, it is unrealistic to catch sellers in deception, because they do not pass off a cat for a fox. It is directly stated that this is a cat, and it is unrealistic to find out the breed and where it was caught. Who can understand from the skin where this cat was caught, in the mountainous regions of China or in a nearby yard?

Cat fur coats from the 1990s had long been taken down and thrown into the trash, it seemed that our people had grown wiser, and the cat's fur would never return to store shelves. But again a crisis came into our lives. Again, store shelves are filled with dubious goods, including cat fur.

China is the largest supplier of fur products. Our Asian friends buy various types of skins, raise many types of fur animals themselves, and catch stray cats. Everything goes to work, everyone makes money, and we are offered to pay almost 400,000 rubles for a blanket of yard cats.
