The fat secreted by these glands covers the hair, gives it shine and elasticity. Thanks to nutrition, the cells of the bulb multiply, the hair lengthens and gradually comes to the surface, turning into a rod. The shaft consists of three layers: the central (medullary) layer, the cortical layer, which contains the grains of the dye that determines the hair color, and, finally, the scaly layer (cuticle). In healthy hair, the scales fit snugly together. Under the influence of the temperature factor, hair dulling (fleece) or as a result of chemical exposure, the adhesion of the scales is disturbed, and this can lead to the death of the hair.


Hair is 88% protein, which is a chain of amino acids. The most abundant amino acid found in hair is called cysteine. This substance is required for the assimilation of selenium, and also contains sulfur, helps to neutralize some toxic substances and protects the body from the damaging effects of radiation, and also participates in the formation of collagen and improves the elasticity and texture of the skin. One of the most powerful antioxidants, while its antioxidant effect is enhanced by the simultaneous intake of vitamin C and selenium.


Hair growth slows down due to poor grooming, sluggish circulation and the use of improperly matched hair care products and styling techniques. Nutrient deficiencies can lead to stunted hair growth, weakening and hair loss.

Applying the oil strengthens the hair follicles, which in turn improves blood circulation in the scalp and stimulates hair growth.


A thorough massage also helps to improve blood circulation to the scalp. Massaging the scalp stimulates the hair follicles, which also accelerates hair growth. Try to massage your scalp for at least 10 to 15 minutes each day. If the hair falls out excessively or the scalp is affected by any disease, you cannot massage without consulting a doctor!
