The Petrodvorets Watch Factory "Raketa" together with the developers of the TU 160 supersonic bombers - PJSC "Tupolev", created a watch model "Pilot TU 160".

The watch is specially designed for pilots of the TU-160 supersonic strategic bomber, also known as the White Swan. Working together, a model was created that ideally meets all the technical requirements and rigorous design inherent in military aviation.

Petrodvorets Watch Factory "Raketa" and PJSC Tupolev are historical enterprises of Russia that combine not only traditions and unique know-how, but also a strong connection with Russian history, the ability to position oneself as a primordially Russian brand.

The Pilot Tu-160 watch is created on the basis of the unique automatic rocket movement of caliber 2624, with a rotor rotating in both directions and a system for disabling the automatic winding unit during manual winding.

The Raketa Watch Factory is one of the unique manufactories producing watches with a 24-hour dial, which this model is equipped with, designed for people working in difficult conditions, when day merges with night and it is impossible to determine the time of day.



This model uses luminescent elements on the hands of "Superluminova" and volumetric elements on the numbers, which make it possible to check the time in dark conditions.

The Petrodvorets Watch Factory is the oldest enterprise in Russia, founded by Peter I in 1721. After the Great Patriotic War, the company produces watches under the brand name "Victory". Since 1961 the plant has been producing the Raketa watch named after the first flight into space by Yuri Gagarin.

This is one of the rare world manufactories that produces its own watch movements from A to Z, including the spiral and balance.
