Azzedine Alaia fashion show took place in Paris. The designer has long ignored Fashion Weeks, sometimes skipping a season entirely, and sometimes showing off a new collection a week or two after the official schedule. The show was opened and closed by the designer's favorite model and longtime friend, Naomi Campbell. In addition to Naomi, they took to the podium Karlie Kloss and Marina Lynchuk.

In the new couture collection Azzedine Alaya did not come up with something completely new and innovative. The designer didn't do crazy experiments with clothes, but what he showed was really beautiful.



Few designers create clothes like Alaya, so the designer decided not to spend money on makeup and hairstyles for models, and most importantly, to focus all the attention of the audience on new dresses and coats. Instead of hairstyles, the heads of the models were wrapped in a thin film, which from a distance resembles thin scarves.

The show was attended by Nicolas Ghesquière, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Patrick Demarchelier, Jack Lange, Sidney Picasso, chief editors of fashion magazines and many others.
