Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi presented a new fall-winter 2018-2019 couture collection, where love for creativity and real art comes first. At the same time, the main fur fashion house has not forgotten about the latest trends in the rejection of fur. Fendi has not completely abandoned fur, it has not yet come to this, but their luxurious collection is more than half made without fur, although all the products look so furry and fluffy.

In some things, sheep's fur is used, but it has undergone such a treatment that even when trying on a fur coat, you might think that it is made of mink fur! In other outfits, organza replaces leather and suede. And where we see natural fur, in fact, velvet. The entire collection is based on unusual combinations and illusions. How real artist, the designer mixes several textures in one look - from weightless organza and chiffon to leather and suede.



When creating the new fall-winter 2018-2019 collection, the designers were inspired by such a trend in art as Orphic Cubism with geometric shapes and brilliant abstractions. Spectacular circular motifs served as decoration for many garments presented to the public. In the style of cubism were decorated high-heels made of plexiglass and maple wood.

In the new Fendi collection, we see a fusion of traditional luxury, art elements and modern fashion trends. The models seem to have come off the canvases of the Cubists and Impressionists.
