Tuberose flowers and Chloe fragrances

Let us give a few words, namely, words of gratitude, to a plant that you do not see, but feel on yourself. This is tuberose. A plant that is present in perfumery and quite often. Tuberose has a sweet aroma, slightly reminiscent of lily or hyacinth. The smell of tuberose increases even more towards night, and therefore it is called the "queen of the night". The homeland of this amazing plant is Mexico. However, tuberose is now grown in France, and in Italy, and in Spain, as well as in India and Morocco. In these countries, tuberose grows not only for decorative purposes, there are whole plantations of this plant, which makes it possible to use it in perfumery.

Tuberose is always present in floral and oriental compositions, as its smell is rather sweet, intoxicating.

It is the aromas of tuberose inspired Karl Lagerfeld in 1975 to create the beautiful women's perfume Chloe. In this fragrance, the aromas of rose, tuberose, jasmine, narcissus, carnation are combined in complete harmony - five beautiful flowers that convey sensual femininity. Fragrances, where tuberose is present, always create elegance and sophistication, as if complementing elegant clothes.

The heir to an ancient family of winemakers, Kilian Hennessy, who is dedicated to creating aromas, says that the perception of aromas is subjective and individual. "... It's like the color, the model of the bag, or the style of the dress." His favorite scents, which he uses in the compositions of his perfumes, are called patchouli, vanilla and tuberose. "I grew up in a family where all women smelled of tuberose."

The essential oil of tuberose is still obtained according to an old, rather laborious, technology. This is probably why its cost is quite high - $ 12,000 per 1kg.

Some perfumers say that the process of creating a fragrance is like writing a novel, which tells the story of two - a man and a woman. Therefore, the sensuality and passion that are inherent in such a novel can be easily conveyed through the aroma of tuberose.

The aroma of tuberose is charm, exoticism, mystery that attracts to itself.
