When, if not now, is the time to put on a jacket! From warm coats and voluminous down jackets, you can safely get out, because it gets warmer outside every day. Needless to say: a jacket is a practical, versatile, functional thing, suitable for both spring and autumn, and sometimes even for cold summer evenings.

But you can't do with one jacket in your wardrobe, and therefore we decided to figure out what other options can be purchased for the coming spring. We tell you about the most important fashion trends regarding jackets, and current trends for outerwear-2020.

Leather jackets: short biker jackets and business jackets

Short leather biker jackets are a wardrobe item that will surely never go out of style. Well, the next few years are sure! And in the spring of 2020, not having a leather jacket in your wardrobe is generally considered bad manners. A leather jacket can be almost any, of different styles and cuts, the only thing that should be adhered to is the length to the waist or to the middle of the thigh, no more.

Long leather coats and parkas can be set aside for the fall season: judging by the forecasts, they will be more relevant in the cold autumn.

And in the spring, you should wear short jackets of the most varied tailoring. It can be biker biker jackets with a beveled front strap, black leather, with a zipper, with pockets, rivets and other decor. Such options in 2020 are relevant in oversize size, in combination with faux fur, with frayed and contrasting details, or even sleeveless in the form of a vest (Dennis Basso, Versace, House of Holland).

The total jeans look looks very nice, while the shades of denim for the top and bottom can be different. A denim jacket can be worn over a tracksuit or over a romantic chiffon dress, and some designers (Chanel, Celine, Alberta Ferretti) suggest wearing it even on a naked body.



As for the style, the retro style will be in fashion: what our mothers wore in the 70-80-90s. These are oversized oversized jackets made of thick denim, with raglan sleeves, a dropped shoulder line, a wide top and a tapered bottom with a fastener.

The length should also be chosen short or to the middle of the thigh. Long parkas and denim jackets remain a last season. The color of denim can be very different: light, dark or even colored, with prints or stripes, pattern and decoration - according to your mood. Bombers: lightness, versatility and loose fit

In the new spring season, bombers will again be at the peak of their popularity. This is not surprising: they were loved for their practicality and versatility. This jacket was once the equipment of pilots, and therefore is sometimes called "pilot" or "aviator".Then she entered the men's wardrobe, often appearing in images for relaxation and walks. But today women can safely wear it, while using it both in sports looks and in casual.

A distinctive feature of the bomber is the length to the waist or just a little lower, the volumetric cut, tapered to the bottom, the presence of elastic bands on the bottom of the product and on the collar, as well as on the cuffs of the sleeves. The front of the jacket is zipped and also has side pockets that can be decorative or functional. A minimum of decor and finishes, all the brightness that women's bomber jackets can afford is color or prints.



For spring, this is almost a win-win option. Depending on the fabric from which the bomber jacket is made, it can be worn with tracksuits and trousers, with jeans and shorts, with skirts and dresses, with sneakers or high heels. Fur jackets in spring ?! Yes, yes and yes again! Fashion trends of the past and the coming year are very fond of fur, especially artificial. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that in the spring of 2020 it is proposed to wear jackets in a variety of faux fur variations.

Some designers used natural fur trim on the catwalks, but were immediately criticized by animal advocates. Well, and we, of course, know that artificial fur will definitely be more relevant than natural. And even cheaper, more practical, brighter and more diverse!



Fashion catwalks seem to remind us that changing the cold season to a warm one does not always go smoothly, and therefore it is definitely worth having a fur jacket in your wardrobe in case of sudden evening frosts. And in principle, the fur can be very thin, plush, fleecy, and the jacket itself can be short, with 3/4 shortened sleeves or without them at all (vests and boleros), and without lining.

Do not forget about bright spring colors, then it will immediately become clear that your jacket is not for the winter season. We saw fur masterpieces of spring outerwear at the shows of Fendi, Celine, Bibhu Mohapatra, Coach 1941, Zadig & Voltaire, Burberry and many others.

Parks: weatherproof and incredible lightness

If it is better to put off long warm parkas made of Bolognese materials, leather or jeans until autumn, as we said above, then for spring 2020 it is worth getting the lightest and thinnest unlined raincoat parka. What for? Elementary: for protection from wind and rain, in the first place. High-tech synthetic materials can protect you from moisture if you are suddenly exposed to rain. And their thinness and lightness allows you to fold such a parka into a miniature pocket and carry it with you in your bag if the forecasts convey rain.

The most important thing in spring parks is the lack of lining and the brightness of the material. The most unusual prints are welcome, ranging from checks, stripes and polka dots, to beautiful floral motifs and tropical prints. Leave the monotony and dark shades for fall.



The rest of the park remained a park: a drawstring at the waist and at the bottom of the product, the presence of a hood, roomy pockets, stripes and shoulder straps.
