As a result, there are many things in the child's closet that, in principle, may not be combined, because they are cheerful, bright, everyday or dull school ones.







When my son was given a school dress code, I was saddened, because at first glance it was impossible to show creative stylistic imagination. But then I realized that the main thing in a basic school wardrobe, as well as in a business style, is to be able to play with accessories.

Together with a uniform tie, a blue bow tie, a gray tie, black suspenders, high and red socks, black and brown belts, watches appeared in the son's school wardrobe.

I also realized that, without breaking the rules of the uniform dress code, you can play with the length of the trousers, the sleeves rolled up, the buttons on the jacket or shirt unbuttoned, the dressing of the shirt or wearing it out.

A burgundy vest was to be in uniform for every day. And although the school entered into an agreement with a certain store, some of the parents decided that they would buy vests wherever it was convenient for them. So, I could buy a knitted vest with metal buttons, with a knitted pattern, white neckline trim.

I also realized that for the boy in the image, as well as for the man, the hairstyle is of great importance. And she decided not to skimp on a good hairdresser. True, this idea was not the most successful, because the styling on the boy's head holds the first lesson, until the first break.

Even in the basic school wardrobe, you can experiment with shoes. Now the fashion for white sneakers is leaving, but many dress codes allow boys and girls to wear white sneakers or sneakers to school. They perfectly refresh boring school images.

How to put together a capsule school wardrobe

What is a capsule? A capsule is a set of things and accessories for a specific occasion. The capsule can be for summer vacations, for work, for dating, and in our case for school. The number of things in a capsule usually depends on the time that this area takes in life. The more time we plan to spend on a designated area of ​​life, the more things in the capsule should be.

The most important principle of the capsule is that all things in it should be combined with each other, which allows you to make the maximum number of sets from the minimum number of things. Since accessories are also involved in the capsule, the change of shoes or tie will already be considered a different set.

The principle of making a capsule is as follows:

1. We take one bottom and select three tops to it.
   
2. Choose an alternate bottom that will blend with the selected tops.
   
3. Add a few more tops. It is important that the bottom and top are different from each other. There should not only be shirts of different colors. In the school wardrobe, you can play with the cut and choose, for example, a shirt with a stand-up collar.
   
4. We choose about 1-3 pairs of shoes, a bag and a few additional accessories. In a men's wardrobe, these can be ties, suspenders, belts.
   

I made capsules for school for a boy and a girl using Mango and Zara clothes. Keep in mind that school clothes in Mango are small, in Zara clothes may fit the indicated age or slightly larger in the tops.

Basic school wardrobe for a boy

When choosing things for the capsule, I was guided by a not strict dress code. If the colors of your school uniform are black, then burgundy can be replaced with black, if gray, then gray.

Why didn't I include a suit in the capsule, because there are not many options for combining things with a suit, we just change shirts and turtlenecks by color, but you can try wearing a formal school suit with a white T-shirt.



In the capsule that we have considered, you cannot combine a burgundy jumper with a vest in images due to the density of the knitting of things, everything else is combined. By the way, a white turtleneck can be safely worn under shirts, this will give several additional sets from the things given in the capsule.

When drawing up school kits, take into account the wishes of the child, his degree of comfort. My son, for example, does not like to wear suspenders and only agrees to them on rare occasions.

Girls' wardrobe is often varied and colorful. I specially took only 6 things and 6 accessories to compose the capsule, to show that it is not at all necessary to buy a bunch of things for a girl's school. It is important to purchase high-quality, comfortable things that the young princess will like.
