What happened in New York? Colors. The colors are black, blue, orange is still relevant.

The most delicate and feminine collection is Oscar de la Renta. However, it is not surprising, because the brand itself is always feminine and nothing else. Colors from pale blue and pale pink to the very notorious blue. Feminine silhouettes. Makeup as natural as possible, hoops and bandages are required on the head. But not only black, blue was present both in clothes and in makeup, makeup artists certainly did not spare blue shadows. There was gold, yellow and white.

In the collection Victoria Beckham also not without black and orange colors. The dresses were quite simple, always with a belt, always without unnecessary details. The style of this collection is military style, but at the same time incredibly feminine and completely simple. Exceptionally restraint, severity and coldness, as befits an ideal warrior woman. Unlike previous collections, the BCBG Max Azria collection was brighter and more varied. Donna Karan's collection has not been without black and gray colors, traditional for New York week, but orange has been replaced by red. And if Victoria Beckham turned to the military style, Donna Karan experimented with the “men's suit in the women's wardrobe”. But at the same time, the result is necessarily elegant, graceful and feminine. On the head - always a hat.

The collection by Diane Von Furstenberg tried to combine youth with elegance. And yet elegance won out. Elegance and severity - these are the words that can fully convey the essence of the fall-winter 2012/2013 collections of the New York Fashion Week.

Marc Jacobs pleased, and maybe shocked someone, but definitely surprised everyone with his huge, often furry hats. In such hats, the models became something like mushrooms. Unlike most collections with a very fitted silhouette, he had voluminous jackets and fluffy skirts. In addition to huge hats, there were also tight-knit scarves, in such winter you certainly will not freeze.

Collection presented by Vera wangwas feminine. The dresses are made of light and often transparent fabric. However, shoes served as a contrast to them - ankle boots on a huge platform or leather boots. Colors - black, gray, orange.

Austerity, elegance, simplicity of shapes and plots, black, blue and bright orange - these are the main results of New York Fall-Winter 2012/2013 week.
