There is one golden rule in makeup that has been known to everyone for a long time, which says that it is better to focus on one thing - either on the eyes or on the lips. And, as my practice shows, most of us want to have large, hypnotically expressive eyes.

To achieve a wide-open look and not only draw attention to your eyes, but also collect a bunch of compliments, you need to know all the subtleties of makeup. Let's not be cunning - each of us wants to visually enlarge his eyes a little, but not everyone knows how to do it correctly and organically.

1. Do not circle your entire eyes with a pencil. This will visually make the eyes even smaller. Better to bring your eyes only from above, along the line of growth of the eyelashes. So the eye will become more expressive, and the cilia will appear thicker.

2. It is important to understand that in magnifying the eyes, the shade of the shadows you choose is of great importance. To visually enlarge the eyes, Eyeshadow applied to the movable eyelid, under the eyebrow and to the inner corner of the eye, should be light and muted natural shades - olive, light pink, light gray, peach, so relevant in the current season. You can also use shadows with delicate shining particles. But with dark shades you need to be more careful, it is better to use them as accents or not use them at all. Also, do not forget to shade the borders of the color transition well.



3. To open up your eyes in everyday makeup, you need to arm yourself with mascara and thickly paint over your eyelashes. For greater effect, I recommend combining mascara with a lengthening effect and mascara with a volumetric effect. And, of course, you definitely need to make friends with a köhler (curling iron for eyelashes), but remember that in order to avoid fragility of the eyelashes, you must use it strictly before applying mascara.



If you have naturally thin short eyelashes, then for special cases, in addition to using mascara, it is better to resort to the use of false tape eyelashes, allowing you to achieve a spectacular doll look, and for those who prefer naturalness, I definitely recommend beam eyelashes.

4. Lightening the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid will also visually increase the size of the eyes. The line should be drawn with a light-colored pencil - beige, olive, etc. Only, please, do not use a white pencil for these purposes, so you risk getting a drawn (and, in the literal sense of the word) anime girl instead of a luxurious beauty, since the white color on the lower mucous membrane looks alien.



It will also be useful to know how to do exactly NOT necessary:

• Very wide or low eyebrows should be avoided as they visually make the eyes smaller.
  

• It is not recommended to draw a continuation of the arrow along the lower mucosa.
  

• Dark circles under the eyes can also create the illusion of smaller eyes, which is why do not neglect correcting circles with concealers and color correctors.
  

And, of course, it is very important not to forget that makeup is not a story about living separately, beautifully painted eyes and / or lips. Undoubtedly, bright accents attract attention, but in order for your whole image to look stylish and expensive, it is necessary to even out the skin tone well with the help of foundation and add a drop of refreshing blush to the "apples", and your image will sparkle in a completely different way.
