However, this article is not only sad, it is also serious, because it will also talk about the fact that everything is easy and beautiful only in dreams.

Ruslana was born on July 2, 1987 in a military town near Alma-Ata. She and her brother were raised by their mother, Ruslana's father died early, she was then only 5 years old. Ruslana Korshunova spent her childhood and youth in Kazakhstan. In 2003, her photographs appear in All Asia magazine. Debbie Jones, a representative of a large modeling agency, became interested in these photos of Ruslana. This is how the success story of Ruslana Korshunova began. It started quite classically: a girl from the provinces accidentally noticed by a representative of a large modeling agency ...

Already in 2005 Ruslana participates in New York Fashion Week. Then she starred in advertising campaigns for famous brands. Ruslana's appearance, by the way, was very memorable, her long hair gave her a special zest, for which she was even called “Russian Rapunzel”.

The most memorable advertisement with Ruslana Korshunova was the advertisement perfume Nina Ricci... I think that this advertisement was remembered by many and even people who are not at all interested in fashion. And I think that many people saw this ad, because it was shown more than once on the same television. Advertising in white and pink colors, a girl running into a room and climbing a mountain of apples. Beautiful and magical.

Ruslana has appeared on the covers of French ELLE, Russian and Polish Vogue. But on June 28, 2008, she jumped out of the window of her New York apartment. Committed suicide? Or someone pushed her? Did she have enemies? Then, in 2008, the entire world press wrote about this, the tragic death of the Russian model Ruslana Korshunova was widely discussed. But clarity in this story has not increased.

Ruslana was a sad girl. After her death, excerpts from her notes, as well as poems posted by her on the Odnoklassniki website, leaked to the Internet. “Giving yourself doesn’t mean selling” or “You traded the queen for the cook! You feel hot in the arms of Their Majesty ... ”- she quoted such verses on her page. “Never stop smiling, even when you are sad, someone may fall in love with your smile,” wrote Ruslana. And not a single line was complete without the theme of love. Ruslana really was in love with a certain young Muscovite, who, however, had a pregnant girlfriend, their love could not become mutual. And Ruslana begins to meet with a car dealer, and the last one who saw her alive was her ex-boyfriend Artyom, with whom they were once going to get married.

Friends of Ruslana Korshunova wrote that she could not commit suicide in any way, because she loved life, she never took drugs, did not abuse alcohol.

However, they also wrote about Ruslana that she was simply obsessed with work, she was very afraid of losing the money she earned, she always “wanted more, more, more” money. And the career of a model, as you know, is very fleeting. Ruslana also attended the Rosa Mira training center. After her death, they even wrote that it was a kind of sect for the rich. There were many assumptions and versions.

We do not know the reason for the death of Ruslana Korshunova, and she was not the first of the models who died in tragic circumstances: models died from drug and drug overdose, from heart attacks, in accidents on the roads, because the profession of a model is associated with constant moving, there were suicides, there were also murders. It is worth remembering that the work of a model is connected with stress, it is a very nervous job. We see only tops and the life of successful models seems to us sweet and carefree, but this is life at a frantic pace: constant flights, castings, which are not always pleasant. I think that no one as often as models have listened to themselves, everything that people think about them, without any censorship, from those who conduct auditions to journalists from the yellow newspapers. Truly iron nerves are needed here. And do not forget that the girls who got into the modeling business are essentially still children, children torn from home, from their parents and facing all the problems of adulthood. What time do they come to the modeling business? At the age of 14-16. At 25, the models are already ending their careers. At 25, girls who did not become, and did not aspire to be models, successful models, are only entering adulthood, because only by the age of 23 they graduate from institutes and universities. And yet, if we are talking about successful models, then by the age of twenty they have a fairly good livelihood, the whole world is open to them, they have not only money, but also connections, communication with a certain circle of people, but at the same time they only have a little over twenty ... In fact, they are still children. To succeed in a career as a model, however, as in any other profession, you need a very strong character, this world is still cruel, and he, as always, does not like naive, sincere, light ones. And in order not to get lost and not get confused, you need some kind of life guidelines, possibly laid down in the family, and a feeling of a reliable rear behind.
