Odessa Fashion Week - Odessa Holiday Fashion Week

Heat. Summer. And somewhere in a sunny city on the seashore, people leisurely walk along the old streets and along the very Deribasovskaya street, where the weather is always good, tourists queue up to the legendary chair of Ostap Bender and go down to the port, along the Potemkin stairs.

Seaport. South Palmyra. Pearl by the sea. A city famous for its sense of humor and winding catacombs where you can get lost or find treasure. Ringing trams with too many people ride along the streets of this city, and no less crowded yellow minibuses, past which expensive cars pass, completely oblivious to the traffic lights, and along the shady street of Krasnye Zor, which descends to the sea, there are two-story houses with turrets and tiled roof. Heat. Summer. And the tired, shaggy and, it seems, the dogs turned gray from the heat, deprived of the happiness of serving man, lie tiredly in the courtyards of the old and gloomy five-story buildings, sticking out their wet tongues.

And at night, the glare of the sun among the waves of sea water is replaced by the mysterious light of the full, but already tending to zero moon and along the lunar path reflected in the sea water, you want to go somewhere there, quite far, into the darkness of the night sky, into the land of dreams.

It is here, in Odessa, and it is in the summer, on hot July days (July 6-8), that another fashion week takes place - Odessa (Odessa Holiday Fashion Week).

Odessa Holiday Fashion Week is an integral part of the Ukrainian Fashion Week (Ukrainian Fashion Week), held for the sixth time. Designers, both from Ukraine and from other countries, among the participants of Odessa Holiday Fashion Week have already been represented by designers from Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Great Britain, and this year participants from Israel and Switzerland have also been added, exhibiting their cruise collections. Here you can see women's and men's collections, baby clothes and collections of precious jewelry.

But the Odessa fashion life of these few days was saturated not only with shows, parties were also held within the framework of Odessa Holiday Fashion Week, which this year were supplemented by individual shows by designers. So on July 7, the Maristella Club hosted a party from the media partner of the event called Dress Code Fashion Night with a show from Julia Aysina. And the program of the party, which took place on July 8, included shows by designers Irina Dzhus (winner of the competition for young designers) and Anastasia Ivanova (she presented a collection of swimwear).
