Marc Jacobs is a famous American designer born on April 9, 1963 in New York.

His father died early, when Mark was only seven years old. And the mother kept trying to arrange her personal life. Mark's abilities were already recognized then with the Gold Thimble Award for emerging designers for a collection of hand-knitted sweaters. In the same 1984, Mark received the title of "Student of the Year".
