The difference in them was that the women's jacket was enlivened by a white or colored vest, or just a fox thrown over the shoulder, or maybe a bouquet of violets attached to the lapel of the jacket. During the Second World War, changes took place in the suit - he became with a rather long jacket with very wide shoulders and a short skirt. The shape of the jacket was definitely close to that of a man's jacket. In the late 40s, the wasp waist was accentuated in the form of a woman, and the suit followed the New Direction.

At the same time, skirts could be lush and narrow, but only below the knees. In these and subsequent years, there were no silhouettes, and most of them emphasized the smooth curves of the waist. After the angular wartime suit with its broad shoulders and short skirt, Dior's silhouettes displayed an unusual or forgotten luxury. But a separate topic should be devoted to this.
