Dresses for boys

In those old days, boys in dresses were perceived quite normally and therefore, putting on dresses, they did not feel indecently dressed. Although, of course, the kids were looking forward to being allowed to wear trousers, because then they were already considered "adults".

When such a day came, and the boy threw off his dress, putting on trousers or breeches, the family could arrange a whole holiday to commemorate the transition from infancy to adolescence. This moment came at about the age of four to eight years, while the children were under the care of their mother.

The tradition of dressing boys in dresses dates back centuries and persists until the 1920s. Then the boys wear traditional men's clothing, and more recently they have started to wear dresses again. True, now is a completely different story. Today's boys in dresses think they are girls and feel more comfortable in dresses.

And before there was another reason, boys in dresses felt like boys and future men, but they wore dresses because of the poverty of our ancestors. The dress can be worn much longer, it can be sewn for growth, and besides, it was easier for the boy to satisfy his physiological needs, because there were no diapers then.
