De Beers Corporation, founded in 1888 and engaged in the extraction, processing and sale of natural diamonds, in 1994 awarded the French jewelry designer Ann Gerard with the Diamond International Award. Ann Gerard founded her brand in 1994. Since then, many jewelry houses in France and Japan have turned to Ann Gerard to create their jewelry.

In 2000, the designer opened her first boutique in Paris jewelry... It would seem that "diamonds will be forever" (the advertising slogan of De Beers - "Diamonds are forever" - Diamonds are forever used to create a film of the same name from the James Bond series). But the designer made another wish come true. In 2012, she launched a line of fragrances.

For her, "... jewelry in its extreme form becomes perfume." With the help of perfumer Bertrand Duschafour, wonderful fragrances were created in the same year under the names: Cuir de Nacre, Ciel d'Opale, Perle de Mousse, and in 2014 - Rose Cut.

Cuir de nacre ann gerard - a feminine fragrance, belongs to the group of floral aldehyde fragrances. The composition of the fragrance: the melody in the top notes opens with aldehydes, angelica and ambrette; heart notes: aroma of black currant, noble iris and leather; in the trail: sandalwood, styrax and white musk. The scent is refined, delicate and exciting. Beautiful aldehydes and iris sound delicate and sophisticated. It feels calm and warm.
