Fashion is a very bright phenomenon, but there are very few good fictional and even documentary films about fashion. Therefore, we look forward to the release of each new film about fashion with particular interest. The film "The Neon Demon" was released in the summer of 2016, but I managed to tell my impressions only now.

The film is very beautiful and mysterious, it has a lot of hidden meaning, but "The Neon Demon" has little to do with the real world of fashion. In the modeling business, there is no such fierce competition and hatred that turns into murder. Model business exhausting girls with long castings, flights, sleepless nights and a busy schedule of shows and filming.

Last season you shone on the catwalk, and now you are only invited to parties and dubious projects. All your covers are in the trash can, and girls on social networks like the photos of the new stars of the fashion world. This is the main cruelty of the fashion world, but such a story will be boring for the viewer.

Lest the viewer get bored, the film "Neon Demon" shows the world of fashion, filled with real cruelty and the darkest manifestations of human nature. Real cruelty, combined with a beautiful picture, make the film a vivid fantasy that must be watched like a dark fairy tale for adults.

The Neon Demon movie definitely needs to be added to the collection of fashion films, but for me personally, it brought some disappointment. Finally, here is a list of the most famous fashion films.
