For the Alexander McQueen Fall-Winter 2017-2018 collection, Brand Creative Director Sarah Burton drew inspiration from Cornish culture, including the trees that you can tie a ribbon to to make a wish.

This is not the first collection of this kind. Sarah Burton finds inspiration from year to year in her native Great Britain - its landscapes, lakes and rivers, the Victorian era. For last season's collection, Sarah sought inspiration in the Scottish Isles, now in the southernmost county of the United Kingdom, Cornwall.



Sarah Burton has always been the right-hand man of Alexander McQueen, and she has done numerous historical studies to find inspiration, which ultimately formed the basis of the most famous collections of Alexander McQueen. Therefore, Sarah's collections are getting better and better.

The main elements of the fall-winter 2107-2018 collection are leather jacketsfloor-length dresses featuring trees, black leather boots with red lace-ups on the side, and crude Celtic-inspired embellishments.
