They created not only their own perfume house, but also a family home, in which everyone is warm and comfortable. Their aromas are based on the legendary Cologne water. Atelier Cologne is the first perfume house in which all creativity is dedicated to colognes. Founded in 2010 by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, the house has brought the world a new perfume family called Cologne Absolue, which celebrates the freshness and elegance of citrus, the traditional ingredients of cologne.

Almost all Atelier Cologne fragrances start with citrus noteswhich are the favorites of the founders of the brand. But the result of each composition is always different. There are cheerful scents such as Cedrat Enivrant and Orange Sanguine, which combine with citrus fruits to sing a melody of hot and cheerful summer notes of fruity and floral notes. And there are autumn ones, with traditional warm notes that warm both in winter evenings and in autumn coolness, for example, Bois Blonds and Ambre Nue.




Zedrate is a large citrus fruit also known as citron or etrog. It has a wonderful and powerful scent. This is probably why the new Cedrat Enivrant perfume is named exactly like that - "Intoxicating Cedrat". Like many other fragrances, the Collection Originale, which includes Orange Sanguine and Trefle Pur, Cedrat Enivrant, has a Cologne Absolue concentration, in other words, contains 15% perfume extract, which gives the scent more depth and longevity than traditional colognes. in which the concentration is only about 3-8%.

The composition contains Moroccan zedrate, Mexican lime, bergamot from Calabria, Chinese mint, Egyptian basil, juniper berries from Macedonia, tonka beans from Brazil, Haitian vetiver and Filipino elemi.

Citrus notes are not considered persistent, but as Christophe Servacel argues, their persistence can be increased. For example, patchouli or oakmoss, it is these components that will be excellent fixers in the composition. We can say that citrus shades go well with absolutely all other notes, and in each case, an excellent result is obtained.

And this is not surprising, because it is these notes that have a tonic effect. And literally all perfume fans feel this. They have the effect of emotional excitement, which causes an increase in physical tone. The impact on our senses and emotions of citrus fruits is enormous. For example, citrus aromatherapy sessions can help treat headaches, neuroses, melancholy. Many citrus fruits are part of sensory mixtures, having a positive effect on the psychoemotional center.



Sylvie and Christophe never change citrus notes. They are universal for them, and they believe that such compositions can be used at any time of the day, weather and season. Fresh and vibrant citrus fruits are traditionally associated with colognes.

Of course, each fragrance is based on different citrus notes, somewhere bergamot, and somewhere a bitter orange or lemon sparkling with its cheerfulness. Therefore, each perfume tells its own story, sings its own melody, reflecting new and new facets of beauty and evoking beautiful dreams and memories.

This is a cheerful perfume, the composition of which is decorated with red and bitter orange, notes of jasmine, geranium, tonka bean, sandalwood and sensual amber. Rose Anonyme, Atelier Cologne

This fragrance is a fairy tale in which all dreams come true. The composition of the fragrance is rich and from the first breath bewitches and intoxicates. It contains Calabrian bergamot, ginger, Turkish rose, oud, Somali opoponax, patchouli, papyrus and benzoin. The fragrance is a unisex oriental floral, released in 2012. The fragrance is warm and slightly tart, inviting, delicate and intense. They want to breathe over and over again. Rose Anonyme is a beautiful rose that adds subtlety and sensuality to this fragrance.

Christophe and Sylvie first met in New York in early 2006. At this time, Christophe had already founded a company that also dealt with perfumery. He found interesting fragrances for fashion designers, and was about to enter the American market. Sylvie headed Fresh's US sales and marketing department and dreamed of creating her own perfume brand... It so happened that at first there were intimate conversations, and then professional relationships arose.

Gradually, in communication, they realized that they could no longer live without each other, and decided to start a family, and at the same time a new project of their own. This is how the perfume brand Atelier Cologne was born, which today has reached a level where its fragrances have appeared in the best cosmetics and perfumery stores around the world.

Sylvie and Christoph complement each other perfectly in every aspect of their life together. And the most important secret of their happiness is respect for each other.



Inspiration for creating fragrances usually comes after creating stories. Sylvie and Christophe write these stories together, and come up with them while traveling. It is not easy for them to be alone at such a pace of life and work, but when this happens, then they manage to relax a little and dream. The scent stories can be found on the back of the scent bottle. Christophe loves to tell these stories to customers. And the story is so fascinating that buyers, having heard the story and not tasted the fragrance, already want to buy it. And what about the creators of the brand? What stories do they like the most? Sylvie loves woody notes and musk, and therefore her favorite story is associated with the fragrance Bois Blonds. Trefle Pur and Gold Leather are ideal for Christoph. One he uses almost every day, and the other when traveling.



Sud Magnolia Atelier Cologne - the fragrance belongs to the group of floral woody-musky fragrances. Sud Magnolia was launched in 2015. Perfumer: Jerome Epinette. Cedre Atlas Atelier Cologne - a fragrance for men and women, belongs to the group of woody fragrances. Cedre Atlas was launched in 2015. Perfumer: Jerome Epinette. The composition of the fragrance consists of notes of bergamot, lemon and black currant.
