Liv dolls are a new generation of modern articulated play dolls produced by the young Canadian company Spin master. Despite the fact that they are not yet as well known to the Slavic audience as Barbie or Moxie teenz, these cute dolls, step by step, more and more confidently win the love and recognition of their customers around the world. Let's get to know them better today, and together consider their features and benefits.

Let's start with the fact that Liv dolls, although they are playable, at the moment represent a worthy alternative to expensive ones. collectible BJD (articulated) dolls... They have 14 movable joints, thus being an excellent functional model for both playing and artistic modeling. No wonder the very name Liv comes from the word live, and means "alive", "close to the present." Therefore, a special feature of these dolls is also realistic beauty and high-quality, detailed elaboration of the face and body. They have "live" glass eyes, very similar to real hair, fashionable, modern hairstyle, absolutely realistic, like real girls' clothes and accessories. All of the above makes Liv dolls extremely attractive not only for children, but also for collectors - adults.

The image of the Liv doll is the image of a modern European girl - a schoolgirl who has her own aspirations, hobbies, girlfriends and friends. Liv's clothes are also made in a classic European style (sundress dresses, leggings, jackets, blouses and cardigans), which is why the chic, ultra-fashionable 36-centimeter beauty Moxie Teenz, with her catchy image and glamorous outfits... The Liv doll, on the other hand, looks more modest and natural against its background, and its height is 30 cm.

Comparing Liv and Moxie Teenz with each other, we can also say that the latter has a rounder, doll-like face and large, wide-open eyes with pasted lashes. In this respect, the proportions of the Liv doll's face are more natural and human-like, although she has painted cilia. In general, both of these dolls are spectacular and beautiful in their own way.

Each Liv doll is made of a very high quality - neat, anatomical-like, softly moving hinges (making neat hinges for dolls was also part of the company's task), pleasant to the touch, "heavy" plastic that perfectly conveys the contours of the body, smooth, invisible seams-adhesions, soft, reminiscent of natural hair wigs. Like expensive collectible dolls, Livok's wigs can be changed - if you are tired of the image of your brown-haired doll, then by buying a replacement wig for her, you can easily turn her into a delicate blonde. This does not apply only to Liv the boy - his hair is stitched all over his head, which in my opinion is a good decision, since you can be firmly sure that his fashionable hairstyle will not be affected in any way. However, Liv - girls' wigs are also attached very firmly, and in order to remove them from the head, you need to make some effort (which is also imputed to them as a plus, compared to Moxie Teenz, whose hair, as many complain, often falls off when turning upside down).

In addition, as mentioned above, the body contours and facial features of Liv are worked out in great detail - the nasolabial folds and even the relief of the surface of the lips, muscles on the arms and legs of Liv - boys, miniature fingers with marigolds and other pleasant little things are clearly visible.

In addition, each Liv doll is packed in a very handy book box: after use, it is easy to put it back and close with a plastic lid.

The Spin master company is extremely mobile and never sits still: new clothes and accessories, developed by real fashion designers, are regularly produced for Livoks. The Liv brand also has its own website, the access code to which can be found in the box with each doll purchased.

And now about the disadvantages. Despite all the many advantages, they consist in the fact that ... a large number of Liv dolls are forged! The Ukrainian industry has especially succeeded in selling fakes - and, at first glance, such dolls cannot be distinguished from real ones. But, I can reassure you: if you have already seen the original with your own eyes, in this case it will not be difficult to distinguish a fake. Fake Liv dolls are distinguished by simpler, cheaper plastic, their feet and palms, as a rule, differ in color, wigs are attached crookedly (when dressing, a strip of the head contour remains in sight), and do not hold well - they easily fall off. Another unpleasant property of fake dolls is a very sharp, specific smell that is characteristic of many fake products, which does not go away even if you wash the toy with soap.

Clothes and accessories also have striking differences in fakes - they are made much less neatly: there may be crooked seams, protruding threads and details that differ from the genuine doll. So be careful - when buying, take a close look at the toy. Copies can be found mainly on Internet sites - their cost, respectively, is much lower. Considering the fact that the price of Liv dolls is already low (much cheaper than the same Moxie Teenz), you should not save on quality and save money - otherwise, instead of a wonderful, original doll, you risk getting a low-quality fake. I also advise you to pay attention to the presence of the Spin master logo on the outside of the bottom of the box, and, if possible, check the originality of the barcode of the country of origin.
