In reality, all artificial materials carry a very dubious concern for nature. Even a replacement like a plastic Christmas tree is not as good for nature as it seems at first glance.

I have always felt sorry for buying a natural Christmas tree or pine. It is sad to see people throwing trees in the trash after the New Year. The plastic tree seemed like the perfect replacement. As a result, I had a small PVC tree for several years, and now I have a huge, very realistic, polypropylene tree. The artificial tree serves for many years, and every year it preserves a live Christmas tree.

But if you look in more detail, it turns out that the production of a large artificial Christmas tree is a lot of harm to nature. And when my beauty is completely spoiled, she will also have to be thrown out. Nothing lasts forever, all things, someday will be in the trash. Then my tree will again cause harm, not less, but even more than in the production process.

It's a pity to cut down and throw out live Christmas trees, but at all stages of their life they only benefit nature. All Christmas trees are specially grown while they are growing and benefit the environment just like other plants. Disposal of natural trees is also not harmful to nature. It turns out that my plastic tree should last almost 30 years in order to somehow justify my ideas about protecting nature. And even then, its benefits to nature are highly questionable.





If you remember the composition of other things, there will be no fewer questions regarding their environmental friendliness. For example, my eco-suede dress is made on the basis of microfiber impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene. So far, the dress looks great, but what was required for its production, and how will it behave during the recycling process?

Studying the production of all these eco materials and goods, you understand that they do not bring anything useful to nature, they only amuse our pride, as if we are involved in a great cause - Protecting planet Earth!

Global reality and human activity

The planet went through different periods and eras, asteroids fell to the Earth, the Sun increased and decreased activity, as a result, climate warming and ice ages set in on the Earth. All this made changes to the flora, fauna and landscape of the planet. The Earth, other planets, the Sun, the galaxy and the Universe live in different time frames. For them, the period of activity of human civilization is negligible.

For us, a thousand years is a huge segment of history that includes many generations, for a planet and a galaxy 1000 years is almost an instant. Therefore, it is too arrogant on our part to think that our civilization influences something. Our entire civilization is an insignificant parasite virus in space. Therefore, we will not think that we are doing something meaningful when we buy fashionable clothes from eco materials. All this is nothing more than mouse fuss.



Based on this, I decided not to follow the trends in eco-coats, eco-suede and eco-leather, all this is deception and self-deception. Now I again buy things made from natural materials, they are much more pleasant to wear and actually bring less harm to nature.
