The conditions are now ideal for some of the fashion brands. If the brand used to offer fur coats, coats, jackets and other outerwear with natural fur, now is the time to switch to faux fur.

Fashion trend on artificial materials is gaining popularity, so crowds of buyers will happily buy things with synthetic fur, thinking that they are saving nature and generally adhere to reasonable consumption.

Refusal from natural fur is simply convenient and beneficial for the fashion industry. Imagine how much easier it is to work with synthetic fur! You do not need to participate in fur auctions, spend a lot of money on the purchase of raw materials, you do not need to sort and select skins for sewing products. The use of faux fur simplifies the process of making clothes and makes things more predictable.

Online store ASOS decided to go even further and announced a complete rejection of materials of animal origin. Already in 2019, ASOS will abandon clothing and accessories made of wool, cashmere, down, feathers and even silk. Thus, very soon many fashionistas will completely change into synthetics or, at best, cotton and viscose.

The main reason for the transition to synthetics, of course, is the financial benefit, and only then the imaginary protection of nature. It is clear to any reasonable person that artificial materials in the future will bring more harm to nature than the use of natural materials. But everything is presented as protecting animals and pursuing great goals.

In addition to the pressure of the greens, natural fur has lost its elitism. If earlier a mink and sable fur coat was an attribute of a lady from high society, then recently these fur coats have begun to decorate the most ordinary aunts. In general, fur products lost their elitism and were somewhat vulgarized.

A little time will pass, and natural fur will gain popularity again. Perhaps, in the future, fur coats of exclusively individual tailoring will become popular, because everything on a mass scale cannot be elite.
