But why angels? During the grandiose Victoria's Secret shows, female models go to the catwalk with wings over their shoulders, these wings resemble the wings of butterflies, fairies, and, of course, angels.

Victoria's Secret was founded in 1977. Roy Raymond opened his first store in the suburbs of San Francisco. And the idea, exactly the idea, originated when a few years earlier Roy went to a lingerie store to choose a gift for his wife, but got confused in a variety of styles, styles, sizes. None of the sellers, accustomed to working exclusively with customers, could explain anything to him. As a result, he decided to open lingerie stores aimed at a male audience. This is how Victoria's Secret was born.

But success came to Victoria's Secret only when it was bought out from Roy Raymond by Leslie Wexner. Wexner immediately abandons targeting a male audience.
