Home body scrubs and scrub classification

Scrubs are divided into tonic, firming, exfoliating, anti-cellulite.
When buying a scrub, you need to know for what purpose you need it. Therefore, check out its action in detail. If you are looking for cleansing and exfoliation, opt for a simple scrub that will leave your skin supple, smooth and well-groomed. To maintain the elasticity of the skin, buy a tonic and firming one, and for an anti-cellulite effect - an anti-cellulite one, which has a more intense effect on the skin and even prevents the appearance of stretch marks.

It is best to buy a scrub in a translucent or transparent tube to see what the size of the abrasive particles are. Of course, you already know your skin, its sensitivity and type. Therefore, choose for dry skin - a cream-gel with additional hydration and nutrition, for normal and oily - a scrub with medium and large particles, for delicate and too sensitive - with small particles.

At the base of industrial scrubs, crushed grape or apricot seeds, coconut shells, almonds, pine nuts or bran, crushed herbs, dried flower petals, coffee, etc. are used as abrasive substances. Synthetic components are added to these substances. The best scrubs, of course, are scrubs with natural ingredients: with sugar, natural essential oils, fruit extracts, with seaweed and other components of plant origin.

Finally, the scent of the scrub. Here you just need to smell, it all depends on what smells you prefer: floral, fruity, delicate, sweet, winter freshness, etc.

How to use a body scrub at home?

If you do the peeling yourself at home, then you must first of all first clean your face: dry and sensitive skin, as well as normal - with milk and tonic, and oily - with foam or gel. Then apply the scrub on the face, distribute it gently in circular movements with the fingers of both hands and massage the face for 2-3 minutes in the directions: from the middle of the forehead to the temples, from the corners of the lips to the temples, from the middle of the chin to the earlobes. Then rinse with warm water, gently dry your face with a towel and apply a moisturizer.

At home, a body scrub is best used when the skin is steamed and moisturized, i.e. after a bath, bath or shower. You can massage the body with a mitten or with your hand. Massage should be done carefully so as not to damage the skin - abrasive particles should roll over the surface of the skin, and not scratch it. After a five-minute massage, take a warm shower.

Some of the best scrubs are scrubs made with Dead Sea salts, which contain a wide variety of minerals that are beneficial to the skin and health. This scrub provides an exfoliating effect, nutrition with microelements, has a regenerating, rejuvenating and stimulating effect. And in general, scrubs of natural origin cleanse the skin in a gentle way and at the same time do not harm it.

If you have dry, sensitive and delicate skin, it is better to use the scrub once every 10 days, if the skin is normal - once a week, if the skin is oily - 1-2 times a week. In addition, restrictions in use also arise if the skin has any damage: scratches, burns, dermatitis or other skin diseases.
