Ksenia Sobchak in every possible way praised and rejoiced at her friend's success on her Twitter and even announced that the princess of Bahrain bought half of Ulyana Sergeenko's collection immediately after the show.

So who is Ulyana Sergeenko? The same Ulyana Sergeenko, about whose truly Russian style they never tire of writing and, it should be noted, not in vain, because her collections are always inherent in traditional Russian motives.

Ulyana Sergeenko was born in 1981 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan) in a family of philologists, however, they also write that in the 1990s her father started doing business. Since her school years, she speaks good English, because in the English gymnasium where Ulyana studied, some of the subjects were taught exclusively in the language studied there - English. And also from school years, Ulyana was interested in fashion, they write that Ulyana's classmates say that she always, literally in any weather, wore short skirts, nylon tights and walked with her hair down.

In 1997, 15-year-old Ulyana Sergeenko moved with her parents to Russia, namely to St. Petersburg. In St. Petersburg, the girl is noticed by representatives of the Modus Vivendis modeling agency. To participate in advertising filming, the girl had to fly to Paris, but Ulyana's parents were categorically against her modeling career. The future designer never became a model. Ulyana stayed in St. Petersburg and received a liberal arts education, graduating from the university.

In 2008, Ulyana Sergeenko married Daniil Khachaturov, the head of Rosgosstrakh (in 2007, his fortune was estimated at $ 1.3 billion according to the Russian version of Forbes magazine). She has two children (a son from her first civil marriage and a daughter). After marriage, Ulyana actively participated in social life, attended fashion shows in London, Milan and Paris, where she won over with her original style Western fashion bloggers, who christened her image only as the Russian Lady. Indeed, in the outfits of Ulyana Sergeenko, skirts in the style of new bow, emphasizing the waist, retro accessories and, of course, braids prevailed. It is this style of her own that Ulyana Sergeenko will further develop in her collections. But before becoming a designer, Ulyana Sergeenko was known not only for being a socialite, but also for the fact that she also worked as a photographer. Such famous women as Alena Akhmadulina, Ksenia Sobchak, Yana Raskovalova, Polina Kitsenko have repeatedly appeared in the photographs of Ulyana Sergeenko.

Ulyana became a fashion designer not so long ago - in 2011, having founded her own brand Ulyana Sergeenko together with Oksana Lavrentieva (owner of the Alexander Terekhov brand) and Vika Gazinskaya (designer). In the same 2011, the show of her first collection took place - autumn-winter 2011, which Ulyana herself described as “illustrations for the Soviet Vogue of the 1950s”. And already in December of the same year, her second show of the spring-summer 2012 collection took place.The second collection of Ulyana was associated with images from the cinema and was based on the fictional story of the arrival of the French actress Brigitte Bardot in the Soviet Union, thus combining the French-Soviet theme.

Today, the collections of the designer Ulyana Sergeenko are exhibited in Paris.
