Rance's old house. France. 1795 year. The family of glove makers Louis and then Antoine Rance, settled in Grasse... As you know, master glovers moistened their products with a few drops of aromatic essence to make the unpleasant smell of the skin disappear. And for this we need aromas, the secret of which the perfumers owned. But what if we combine both industries? Thought Jean Rance. Soon one of the boys of the Ranse family was assigned to study the art of perfumery.

François, that was the name of this little boy, was very capable of creating fragrant bouquets. This is how the first perfumer appeared in the Ransé family. And what? Napoleon Bonaparte himself was among the customers. It was for him that François created the legendary fragrances: "Winner" (Le Vainqueur), "Water of Austrelitz" (L 'eau d' Austerlitz), "Glory to the French eagle" (Gioir a aigie francais). His beautiful wife, Josephine, decided to keep up with her husband and asked to create enchanting fragrances for her. This is how the Empress fragrance appeared, which was a tremendous success at court. But apparently, perfumery is such a business that can captivate the whole family, and has worthy heirs.

François's nephew, inquisitive Alexander went to study in Milan to replenish his knowledge in the art of perfumery and continue the work he had begun. Subsequently, he created a perfume for Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III. This fragrance, named after her "Eugenia", with a subtle aroma of bergamot, neroli, magnolia, violet, Florentine iris was very suitable for the empress, reflecting her beauty, charm and elegance.

And now the heirs of Ranse continue the work of six generations of perfumers. The formulas of many compositions are stored in the archives of the company.

The energetic and active Jeanne Sandra Rance has selected four award-winning fragrances from the family archive and combined them into a Private Collection called Rue Rance. These fragrances, including the bottles decorated with gold, faithfully reproduce the originals. Among them: "Greatness" (Eau Sublime), "Royal water" (Eau Royale), "Imperial water" (Eau Empire), "Water of France" (Eau de France).

And then again the sensation: "Napoleon is back." Eau de toilette "Winner" was presented in a modern outfit. And the bottle, as a symbol of the winner, is an obelisk with the image of a golden crown. This was followed by a floral-fruity, delicate aroma, clothed in a bottle with soft feminine forms - the fragrance Eau de parfume Josephine, dedicated to the beloved wife of the emperor, Josephine. The aroma gives unforgettable emotions.

The Eugenie fragrance, once dedicated to Empress Eugenie. Its revamped version features floral notes of rose, bergamot, peach, jasmine, violet and magnolia leaves. New perfumes from the Rance company

"Rance Donna", a fragrance for women.
Created in 2009, the fragrance has such a harmonious sound that you don't want to part with it. Delicate fragrance of flowers with powdery shades. Passion and feminine charm are heard in this melody. The composition contains tangerine, peach, bergamot, orange blossom, violet, Moroccan rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, iris, geranium, sandalwood and vanilla.

"Rance Triomphe", a fragrance for men.
A perfume dedicated to the Emperor Napoleon was created in the same 2009. The scent is a reflection of triumph and glory. The composition contains bergamot, neroli, Florentine iris, black pepper, incense, sandalwood, musk and cedar.
