Attention!
This is an article about fashion, in which there are no photos of clothes.

In this article, we will tell you how to make your outfit more original, where to find inspiration and how to color your autumn fashionable and, of course, stylish looks with bright colors. And also we will tell you about another fashion trip. This time we went to the city of Volkovysk, in which, unlike Baranovich, Lida or Pinsk, there are absolutely no hints of fashion. But this is only at first glance.

Where to go for inspiration this fall

Inspiration is a special state of a person, which is characterized by high productivity, tremendous upsurge and concentration of human strength. This is the encyclopedic definition of this concept.

Inspiration is also a major component of any creative process. You cannot create without experiencing inspiration.

All clothing designers in their interviews say that creating a new collection, they were inspired. The sources of inspiration for every designer, like any creative person, are different. Someone is inspired by nature, someone is inspired by paintings by artists, someone is inspired by music.

Anyone can be creative. Each of us can try ourselves in the role of an artist, writer, musician. Each of us can try ourselves in the role of our personal stylist. To pick up elements of clothing so that they become a costume, that is, they are combined into a single harmonious ensemble and express a certain idea - this is creativity. To apply paints to the face, that is, to do makeup, in a certain style and appropriate to a particular event, but at the same time reflecting our inner world, is also creativity.

And if we create our own personal style, act as the creator of our personal image, then we just need inspiration. So where to look for it this fall?

Inspiration can be found in everything - in works of art, in the people around us and, of course, in nature. Nature is good at any time of the year, but the landscapes around us are especially beautiful in autumn, as many poets wrote about. So, the favorite time of the year, A.S. Pushkin was exactly autumn. In autumn, nature becomes an artist and paints magnificent landscapes with many bright colors.

The first source of inspiration is autumn landscapes
Landscapes will tell you how to combine colors in clothes

The landscapes are best enjoyed away from big cities. Where the stars are visible. But when we choose clothes, creating a certain image, landscapes alone cannot help us. Natural colors and shapes will suggest color and print combinations in our clothes. However, we still need details, we need hints in the area of style, and here architecture can be a great source of inspiration. Moreover, the older this architecture is and is far from modernity, the more original our images can be.

Second source of inspiration - architecture
Architecture will tell us ornaments and interesting shapes for the elements of our costume

So, the recipe for inspiration for creating stylish images - in the fall, during the period of bright colorful landscapes, we go to a small town and admire not only nature, but also the authentic architecture of a small town. And also we study it history and legends.

Third source of inspiration - history and legends
How to convey historical events and legends of antiquity through clothes, your imagination will tell you, but professional designers and stylists very often use this technique.

Let's start with nature. Pay attention to paints and their combinations. Pay attention to the shape of the leaves. Pay attention to the details and how they fit together. And imagine how we can use these colors and shapes in our clothes.

Architecture. Each city has its own face. This fall we went to Volkovysk. In fact, this small city on the territory of the Grodno region of the Republic of Belarus is not distinguished by a rich history. Although, it is worth mentioning that Volkovysk is considered one of the oldest cities in Europe. The city was founded in the 10th century and recently celebrated its 1005th anniversary. There are no castles in Volkovysk and only one museum - Bagration. But, as in all small towns, in Volkovysk you can find many interesting nuances.

For example, the city's extensive development of wooden houses, like in villages, can be a good source of inspiration for both country-style images using folk motives, and for images in ethnic style. Take a closer look at the windows and shutters of these houses, here you will find folk ornaments. Take a look at how they are colored.

Here it is the combination of yellow and blue colors, traditional for village houses. By the way, if you follow the rules of the color wheel, then the opposite colors, yellow and blue, are the perfect color combination. And our ancestors knew about it.

There is also architecture in Volkovysk in the style of classicism and in the empire style. Pay attention to the details, to the curls and columns or their imitations, to the coloring of the houses. Surely, you can use some of this in clothes.

There are two churches of the 19th century in the city. Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas built in 1848 (an architectural monument of late classicism) and the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas built in 1874.

There is also a Swedish mountain in Volkovysk. Highest point in the city. It is imperative to climb the Swedish mountain. Firstly, it offers an excellent view of the city. And, secondly, you can admire the beautiful landscapes. According to legend, during the war with the Swedes, which took place in the 17th century, a Swedish commander was killed and over him his soldiers poured a mound in the form of a cone-shaped mountain.

Howl of wolves today you are unlikely
hear in Volkovysk, but the forests surround the city and hunters come to the city

Interesting fact

Volkovysk in the period from somewhere from 2012 to 2016 became a very popular resort town, the "Belarusian Maldives". The thing is that there were chalk quarries near the city, which were filled with water. Moreover, the water in the chalk quarries is bright turquoise.

People from many cities came to see the “Belarusian Maldives”. However, the beaches were wild, the quarries were deep, and the water was clean only at first glance (chalk is not very good for the skin). As a result, information appeared in the media more than once that the chalk quarries would be covered with earth. However, the very popularity of these reservoirs soon began to fade away.

P.S. In the center of Volkovysk, you can find a clothing store from Brest. Brest is considered a “sewing” city in Belarus, and clothes from Brest brands are popular.
