1. My idea of burlesque is very simple - it is always colorful and bright. What is burlesque? What are its features? When did he appear?

I could now start citing the well-known article by Lyalya Bezhetskaya about what burlesque is. At one time, she created it so that people could figure out a little what it is, and later the article was distributed all over the Internet and you can find it on any website and in any note about burlesque. I'd better tell you in my own words what burlesque is for me. For me, this is a way to express and show everything that I can do. In burlesque, I can be anyone: a bottle of Coca Cola, Liza Minnelli, an American flapper girl of the 20s, a lady of spades and even a prisoner. I can be in any era and in any image. Burlesque makes it easier to relate to yourself and even sometimes laugh at yourself. Burlesque allows any woman who has decided to come into contact with him to be liberated and feel real. After all, where, if not in this genre, a woman gets the opportunity to show off in stockings, a hat, gloves, corsets, beautiful dresses - things that she should wear. It is in this genre that she feels feminine. Some of them even have insights in our lessons at the Boudoart burlesque school, and later they change their life and their style. Once upon a time I also changed my life. And I can say for sure that any person can become who he wants to be, do what he likes - you just need to discard laziness, fear, set a goal and go towards it.

2.You are a burlesque model, what is the specialty of burlesque photography?

In fact, I have never come across the term "burlesque model" yet. I'm a pinup / retro model and burlesque performer. Of course, there are burlesque shoots, but the features are exactly the same as retro shots. The retro model differs from the usual model not only in height or style of work. A retro model must understand the history of fashion, know how the models posed for the time that is required of her on the set. A good retro model should live by what she does. An ordinary model can live on anything and be completely uninterested in the style of shooting.

It's impossible to just walk in jeans and a T-shirt, and then get into the frame and take good photos.

Also, a retro model should be able to do makeup, hairstyle herself and know what accessories should be in the image, even if the makeup and hairstyle on the set is done by the stylist-make-up artist, and the clothes are provided by the fashion designer. The girls who are in the base of my agency pinup and retro models know how to do all this, attend various master classes and courses on fashion history, dance and hairstyles with make-ups, and for any occasion they always have clothes and accessories. That is why the customer chooses us.

3. You also took part in the burlesque cabaret "Box" by Lyalya Bezhetskaya. What was this project? Is it in demand, is it popular?

I take part in the burlesque cabaret "Lyalya Bezhetskaya's Box" to this day. This does not in the least prevent me from developing my own project - it only helps.

Each burlesque cabaret participant has a huge variety of opportunities that she can develop within the framework of the project. We are constantly developing and growing. The "box" is such a starting point for any actress who comes here once. Each participant of the burlesque cabaret, in addition to the lessons of the “Boudoart” burlesque school, the school of pin-up models, also attends acting and personal growth trainings, dance lessons, lectures on fashion history, and so on and so forth.
The project is becoming more and more popular every year. The level of events in which the "Box" participates is also growing. For example, at the end of 2011, we attended one of the most significant events in the capital - Bosco Bal 2012, and more recently we showed a very unusual program in the style of the 20s at the Ball of the German economy of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce (VTP) in Moscow. You can always view reports from events and assess the degree of demand for the "Box" on our website.

We also have a lot of social events in our life. For example, very soon - on March 6 - we are organizing the Second All-Russian Meeting of Professionals of Burlesque and a big concert as part of the Meeting. You can also find out about this on our website.

4.Your school, Ms. Blondis Pin-up School of Models, what curriculum does it have? What are you teaching?

My school's curriculum is divided into two parts.
The first part consists of a series of photo lessons, during which students learn to understand retro fashion, do makeup and hairstyles, and pose in the frame. Also in these lessons we include small dance lessons and fashion shows, so that girls feel their bodies. All this takes place in a secular form. Here girls receive not only knowledge, but also beautiful photographs. Usually, students begin to apply the knowledge gained immediately after the first lesson.

The second part is intended for those who decided to learn more about everything that they saw in the photo lessons and become a professional. Not every student necessarily becomes a model. Someone becomes interested in the history of fashion and sewing dresses, someone decides to work as a make-up artist or stylist on various shootings, someone becomes a photographer, and someone becomes a burlesque actress. In this part, training takes place according to a specially developed program. I invited the best professional teachers in their field to the school: make-up artists, photographers, actors, choreographers, hairdressers, models. Burlesque queen Lyalya Bezhetskaya, for example, teaches burlesque there.

5.What Pin Up models are you interested in and like?

Anna Fur Laxis, Dita Von Teese, Sabina Kelley, Dayna Delux, Doris MayDay, Bettina May ... In general, there are more and more of them lately. I do not always have time to follow everyone, but those whom I have listed have been taking excellent photos for many years and are delighting.

6. Your motto for life.

Nothing is impossible! You just need to set a goal and move towards it.
