Miles was born in London in 1964. And from childhood he was familiar with the world of show business. Rock music, pop art - all this was close to him, all this was absorbed by him from an early age. After all, his father was a well-known illustrator, suffice it to mention that among the clients of Miles Alan's father were such celebrities as the Beatles or the Rolling Stones. Alan Aldridge's illustrations still appear on the pages of glossy magazines and on the covers of music albums.

Miles's mother, Laura Lyons, was also no stranger to the fashion world, she became the "girl of February 1976", worked as a model and appeared on the pages of Playboy magazine more than once.

Miles's sister Lily Aldridge will also work in the field of fashion, she will become a model and even be among the angels Victoria's Secret.

Initially, Miles was going to follow in his father's footsteps and work as an illustrator (by the way, he received his education in a prestigious St Martin's College of Art, London), but soon realizes that photography and ... cinema is much more interesting for him. Miles buys, no, not a camera, but a movie camera. And the first thing he shoots on film is films about sunsets and flowers. Miles Aldridge worked as a music video director for three years.

And 1995 becomes a turning point for him. This year, a friend of Miles's girlfriend decides to try herself in the modeling business and asks him to make her a portfolio. This portfolio was seen by the editor of British Vogue. And although the girl never became a model, Miles Aldridge, by chance, becomes a fashion photographer.

Miles has worked, and continues to work successfully for the good of the fashion industry, in such magazines as Vogue (British, French, American, Italian, Japanese), The New York Times Magazine and many others. He shot advertising campaigns for Hermes, YSL, Armani, Sonia Rykiel.

Miles is married, his wife is American model Kristen McMenami, and they have three children. Currently, Miles Aldridge lives in London and continues to successfully create his bright and memorable worlds.
