Samsara perfume - another fragrance from Guerlain

The oriental theme in perfumery is eternal. It has deep sensual scents that combine sweet vanilla, powdery and bright animal components: amber, musk, civet.

In 1989, this theme was continued in the form of the beautiful Samsara perfume created by Jean Paul Guerlain. Jean Paul met Desia de Pau, the woman who won his heart, and later became his second wife. But Desia did not use perfume, as she could not find "her" scent. Could a famous perfumer with centuries-old traditions of a great perfume dynasty have done otherwise - he created for her the fragrance that she would call “hers”. Guerlain in love quickly figured out her tastes. As every woman, Desia loved flowers, and then the now famous scent of Guerlain Samsara was born. “I had no other desire than to give this woman a world that would reveal her true essence, her true sensuality,” wrote Guerlain.

Samsara Spirits combine aromas of jasmine, roses, daffodil, ylang-ylang with a warm scent of sandalwood, iris, tonka beans and vanilla. These spirits conquered not only Desia, they gained immense popularity all over the world. Samsara has become a classic creation of the House of Guerlain. A whole avalanche of imitations of this scent appeared.

The bottle of Samsara is red in the shape of a Buddha figure, and the cork is made in the shape of his eye. For Guerlain, red is a special color, with a meaning known only to him.

Samsara perfume from Guerlain is an admiration for the beloved woman.
