Autumn fragrances and perfumes

Golden autumn!!!
Smells of autumn! They are almost tangible: dampness, the delight of fallen leaves, dew drops sparkling on the grass like large diamonds, the fragrance of autumn trees.
Autumn is a good time for poets and artists. Golden beauty inspires and calms, gives a poet or artist a desire to capture it. And perfumers also noticed and understood the value of the beauty and scents of autumn.

In the art of perfumery, one of the best exponents of autumn fragrances was André Freis, the famous perfumer of the House of Lanvin. Here he creates his best works: Arp? Ge, and then Scandal (1932), Rumeur (1932) and Pretexte (1937).

You remember, of course you all remember these lines from F. Tyutchev's poem:

And so Andre Freis was able to convey this crystallinity, this lightness and fragrance in his best aromas. He caught the mysterious charm, the enchantment of nature.

André Freis is one of the most talented perfumers in France, whose perfume is based on the charm of femininity. He himself was always elegant, had beautiful manners - to carry himself and talk.

Fragrance "Scandal" - a female perfume built around leather notes in a combination of juniper, dry notes of smoke, wood, tobacco, birch bark resin, as well as a bouquet of floral aromas.

Fragrance "Rumeur" - chypre perfume. The composition is warm woody, with notes of leather, patchouli, oakmoss. Shades of musk and fruit create a unique aura of charm and sophistication.

Aroma "Pretexte" - floral aldehyde. A fragrance with a special character that unfolds slowly and gives sensuality and joy.

In 2006 the fragrance "Pretexte" was reissued. It has become richer and more modern.

In 1944, the excellent Bandit, created by Germaine Selye, also breathes the scent of autumn - a daring scent dominated by autumn and the joy of hunting. The fragrance was created under the brand of clothing designer Robert Piguet and was conceived as feminine. But, despite the fact that "Bandit" is a typically masculine fragrance, independent women, striving for independence, fell in love with it and made it their own.

Breathes with autumn grasses and smells of forest "Fougère Royale" by Ubigan, created by Parque at the end of the 19th century.

The originality and aroma of these aromas are extraordinary and pleasant for their subtle sweetness, they feel the coolness of a sunny autumn day. And breathing is so joyful and easy.

Fougere or fern aromas most often fall into the aromas of autumn. They combine scents of bergamot, lavender, coumarin, oakmoss and woody notes. There are many masculine or unisex fragrances in this group. The name comes from Ubigan's perfume "Fougere royale" - "Royal fern" (1882) - a wonderful smell, the smell of freshness and coolness, reminiscent of the smell of a forest.

Along with such perfume masterpieces as "Jicky" by Guerlain or "Fougere royale" by Ubigana, beautiful fern scents were created - YSL from Yves Saint Laurent, sweet amber-fougere - Old English Lavender from Yardley, Pour Un Homme from Karon; floral amber ferns - Joy and Amour Amour by Patou, Le Dix by Balenciaga, L'Air Du Temps and Capricci by Nina Ricci, Cardin by Cardin, Eternity by Calvin Klein , "Tr? Sor" from Lancom, "Cr? Ation" from Lapidus. Fougere-spicy - in them the floral components are set off by spices: cloves and pepper. These include Fleurs De Fleurs by Nina Ricci, Equipage by Ermes, Monsieur Rochas by Roche and many others.

Depending on which components dominate or complement the fragrances, we feel a new sound, the sound of charm or coolness, freshness or joy of an autumn sunny day.
