Degradation of electronic and print media

Recently, I don’t know what to read, whom to trust and where to get information and news from. Most of the media that I read on the Internet disappoint me, and we are not talking about self-made magazines made by a half-educated author, but about the most serious projects in the Russian-speaking segment.

Unverified and inaccurate information is published, and besides, publishers want to earn literally all the money, and this is expressed in the fact that for the sake of money they are ready to publish any material and skip any advertisement. For example, the electronic version of Komsomolskaya Pravda contains more advertising than useful information. On the same page with the article there are many blocks that do not correspond to the content of the page at all! The article is dedicated to the execution of a French citizen by al-Qaeda fighters, and on this page anything you like! Baby food and various proposals for feeding children are being advertised, next to it is an advertisement for a veterinary clinic, then we see an advertisement with the following heading - Twisted aliens were found on the wreckage of a meteorite! Then gossip headlines follow, information in which deliberately misleads users, and then we are offered to play the game "The Simpsons"! Scrolling down the page below, we see the Yandex Direct ad unit, and then an offer to make a bank deposit or take a loan follows. At the very bottom, there are again a lot of headlines advertising materials of dubious origin.

Is it really so bad at Komsomolskaya Pravda that it has to use all the ways to make a profit?

In addition to intrusive advertising, there is another problem with the media, for example, forbes.ru and rbc.ru were originally devoted to news and analytics from the world of economics and finance, but recently magazines have turned into something else, namely, into an instrument of opposition. Now almost every serious publication pursues the goal of conveying to the reader how bad everything is in Russia.

In fact, in Russia everything is not bad at all and there are a lot of opportunities, but Russian journalism is degrading, which is not at all pleasing.
