The most stylish cyclist has been identified in Minsk!

On August 9, 2014, the city's most stylish cyclist was chosen for the first time as part of the urban cycling movement. She was a young photographer Ekaterina Dmitrieva.

“I am incredibly happy, and happy for my friend,” says the winner. “Even before the competition, I decided if I won, I would give the bike to her so that the two of us could ride gracefully around Minsk.”

The competition was held in the traditional gathering place for Minsk cyclists this summer - in Victory Park near the free bike rental A-100.

“In the year of our 20th anniversary, the A-100 group of companies has set itself the goal of replacing Minsk on bicycles this summer. It's harder with girls, because there are so many stereotypes about a girl and a bicycle. Therefore, we decided to hold this competition - Veloledy 2014, to show that a girl on a bicycle can be stylish, natural and stunning. To be honest, we did not expect such a big response. Next year, it will be necessary to look for a larger site that would accommodate all interested cyclists and their support groups, ”said one of the organizers, head of the marketing and sales department of A-100 Development Igor Kolchenko.

More than 100 girls took part in the qualifying round, wishing to compete for the title of Veloledi 2014. But only 20 owners of the most stylish women's bicycles and creators of striking bike images took to the podium, where they presented themselves and their “iron friend” to the public and journalists.

The winners in the nomination "The most original image" and "The most stylish bike" were a native of Riga Kurlyand Lana and a cyclist with an active life position Anna Mustafayeva, respectively.
