Beauty Contest Miss Minsk-2011

On the occasion of the City Day, September 10, a beauty contest "Miss Minsk" was held in Minsk. It was organized by the Capital Television television company. And the final show took place on September 9 at the capital's Sports Palace. In the final of the competition, 28 girls took part, selected from a thousand applicants, and each of them, of course, dreamed of receiving the coveted crown (a tiara decorated with rare diamonds and soft blue topaz). The jury consisted of representatives of show business, media and fashion. The jury also included the winner of the last beauty contest "Miss Minsk-2009" charming Maria Kubrakova, who, moreover, has been professionally engaged in ballroom dancing for a very long time.

During the final show, the participants of the competition took to the stage in the outfits of Belarusian designers, swimsuits and evening dresses. The girls also answered the tricky questions of the jury members, showing their wit and resourcefulness. The girls were worried, worried, fought and managed to make friends with each other during the qualifying competitions. So the girls were able to feel themselves in the role of professional models, participating in a photo session, which was held by the famous Belarusian photographer Mikhail Maruga. They were also riders, learning to sit gracefully in the saddle. “I feel myself on a horse. Because it is a very powerful graceful animal. And when you are on horseback, you feel like a horsewoman, queen. I am the only one who rides myself. This will be my little plus. " - noted one of the participants of the competition Oksana Savko in her interview for the STV channel. The girls also visited the bakery, where they could try on the role of a baker. They also visited the bank in which the diadem was presented to them. But, unfortunately, only one of the girls managed to try on this diadem, at the end of the journey, having received the coveted title "Miss Minsk-2011". The preparation of the girls for the final show was carried out by the National Beauty School of Belarus.

But the choice of the jury members, despite all the assumptions of the audience, was unexpected. However, let's start from the end. And so, Olga Kononovich, a student of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University, received the title "Miss Friendship", which was awarded by the participants of the competition. Miss Sport title Aleksandra Sokol, student of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, Miss Photo title Ekaterina Antonova, who at the age of 24 managed to become not only a Master of Philosophy, but also a professional model.

Tatiana Davydenko ... For many, it was she who was the favorite of the competition. This girl stood out among the other contestants with her sparkling smile and gracefulness. It was Tatiana Davydenko, a photographer of one of the capital's magazines, who received two titles at once: "Miss Press" and "Miss Audience Choice". The audience fell in love with her, and during the award ceremony a little girl ran out onto the stage with a huge bouquet of flowers, which was very touching, she also wanted to congratulate Tatyana with her participation and the victory she won, as well as the love that she won from spectators.

Malika Dzhumaeva became the second vice-miss. The first is 19-year-old Oksana Savko, also a very charming and open girl. The title "Miss Minsk-2011" was received by Ulyana Volokhovskaya, a student of the International Ecological University named after Sakharov. Mayor of Minsk Nikolai Ladutko announced her victory personally. “I was on vacation. She returned and saw information about the casting on television.I thought - why not ... ”- this is how Ulyana announced her decision to take part in the competition in one of her interviews. However, the choice of Ulyana as the winner of the Miss Minsk-2011 contest was unexpected and scandalous, because initially no one foreshadowed her victory, and various rumors began to circulate about the voting of the jury members ... But any show cannot do without scandals, and any victory undoubtedly, Ulyana is undoubtedly a beautiful girl, like all Minsk women, who are rightfully considered beauties, and she, no doubt, will worthily bear the title she received, the title "Miss Minsk-2011".
