On March 14, a casting of Belarus Fashion Week took place in the five-star hotel "Peking" - selection of models for future shows of the Fashion Week in Belarus.
The casting was attended by over five hundred young people, of whom nearly two hundred were selected. The designers themselves selected girls and boys for their shows. Models were required to have professional and external data necessary to work on the podium. Among the designers, participants of the next season, Irina Boitk (BOITSIK), Yulia Gilevich (FURGARDEN), Marina Davydova (DAVIDOVA), a representative of the Harydavets & Efremova brand, Valeria Aksyonova (ava by valeria aksionova), Ivan Aiplatov (Elema), representatives of the Lithuanian brand LOVERAIN by Nadia Kirpa and others.
After the event, the head of Belarus Fashion Week, Yanina Goncharova, shared: “For the Organizing Committee, casting models is a kind of official announcement that there is little time left before the shows. Already at the casting, one can assume which of the designers and brands will come out with new collections for the upcoming season.
Casting of models is a bright event when people who are happy to see each other gather in one place, this is manifested in pleasant, full of smiles communication between the organizers and the participants themselves. It's hard for me to say how many people came to the casting, but I was pleasantly surprised when the manager of a large Russian agency, with which I worked ten years ago (as a model), approached me and said: “Yanina, I hope you remember me! You were a model for us, and now we have brought our girls to Minsk. "
There were also models from other countries. This suggests that the level of our work in terms of organizing the Fashion Week is quite professional at all its stages, casting is an example of this. I will add that during the dates of the Fashion Week there will be castings for foreign brands participating, which will arrive a few days before their show. "
The upcoming tenth season of Belarus Fashion Week is preparing a lot of interesting things for guests and project participants.
