Chloe brand story and my favorite Chloe perfume

Chloe is real clothes from France: romantic, elegant and at the same time sexy, energetic. Chloe does not have a permanent style, because this brand has changed designers so often. But in one thing, Chloe always remains true to herself: clothes should be democratic, affordable, good clothes are not always just high fashion. And Chloe mainly deals with pret-a-porter collections.

The Chloe brand was born out of boredom, it also happens. In the second half of the 1940s, a wealthy aristocrat came to Paris from Egypt. Her name was Gaby Agyen. In Paris, she went to boutiques and was bored, but suddenly realized that she could like it - to sew, create, clothes. She sewed her first dresses with the help of two tailors, there were six dresses. It was with them that she went to boutiques, her first dresses were bought by a veil, Dior and Cardin.

Gaby realized that she could expect success. And soon she, having taken two of her friends - a singer and a doctor - as her assistants, began to develop fashion design. But there were problems with the name, to give the new brand the name Gaby, Gaby Agyen herself considered it an unsuccessful idea, because this name, in her opinion, was too simple. And soon a way was found, the new brand was given the name of Gabi's friend - Chloe de Brumeton. Chloe herself agreed, since she considered this venture a pure whim and was sure that the brand with her name would not last long.

Chloe's first fashion show took place in 1956 at the Cafe de Flore. Today this cafe is very famous, because it was here that Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir visited.

Chloe herself soon grew from a small atelier into a fashion house. Chloe clothes were accepted with a bang, sales grew.

Chloe gave the world multi-layer voile skirts, translucent tops, large colored appliques on clothes.

From 1966 until the early 1980s, Chloe's designer was Karl Lagerfeld... This period became the most significant in the history of the fashion house, the heyday of Chloe. Then the designers replaced each other. In 1995, the daughter of the famous musician from The Beatles Stella McCartney became the designer of Chloe. It is she who brings into fashion the combination of corsets with fluffy wide skirts, airy dresses and bikinis with a red heart.

In 2002, Phoebe Philo became the designer of Chloe. Her collections were light and airy, she used extremely expensive fabrics in them, and it was Fili who introduced multi-tiered fluffy skirts. In 2006, Paulo Anderson, a designer from Sweden, became the designer of Chloe. In 2008 - Hannah McGibbon. And then Claire Waite Keller, who previously worked with Gucci.

Today, the range of Chloe is quite wide, they produce both women's clothing and clothing for children, which is in no way inferior to adult clothing. They are engaged in accessories - bags, shoes, as well as perfumery. Chloe perfumes will certainly consist of floral fragrances, they are as romantic and feminine as the clothes from Chloe themselves. So the perfume "Love, Chloe" consists of notes of iris, musk, lilies. Perfume "Chloe New Edition" contains notes of rose, peony, lily. Chloe Narcisse combines floral and fruity notes, while Chloe Intense is a combination of rose and spice.

Chloe is also famous for her swimwear. Recently, there have been two main directions in the design of swimwear: classic and retro style swimwear. The classic trend is characterized by calm gentle tones, simplicity of bikinis and one-piece swimsuits, for swimsuits in the "retro" style - a semblance of women's underwear - lace, satin inserts - a kind of "linen style". Chloe swimsuits also feature fringe, floral prints, beads, that is, one might say, hippie-style swimsuits.
