Belarus Fashion Week by Marko

"Belarus Fashion Week by Marko - Fashion Starts Here!"

Belarusian Fashion Week is still quite young, it is only two years old. But this season, like a stunted flower that has finally been watered, it has blossomed. An important event for the Belarusian Fashion Week was the fact that it received financial support from the company "Marko", a manufacturer of men's, children's and women's shoes. The Belarusian Fashion Week was held in Minsk from 24 to 29 April. Within the framework of the Week, both the shows of Belarusian and foreign designers were held, there were also lectures by leading masters from the world of fashion.

From foreign guests, such designers as Dasha Gauzer, Dasha Gauzer (Russia), Lucja Wojtala, Lucia Voytala (Poland), Tinatin Magalashvili, Tinatin Magalashvili (Georgia) presented their collections at the Belarusian Fashion Week. Dasha Gauser's collection consisted of elements of Russian clothing: quilted jacket, patchwork fabric, coarse knitting. Dasha also gave a lecture “Promotion of a designer brand in Russia”. Ana Varava, editor of L’Officiel Ukraine, and a well-known blogger and photographer who writes about street fashion, Yvan Rodic (aka facehunter), gave lectures at Belarus Fashion Week.

The next guest from abroad, who presented her collection at Belarus Fashion Week, was Lucie Voytala. Lucie Wojtala works exclusively with knitwear, her collection was characterized by simple shapes and bright prints. Further, a designer from Georgia presented her collection. Tinatin Magalashvili collaborates with shoe designers of the Fashion House Shoes-cafe "MADONNA" (Georgia). At Belarus Fashion Week, Tinatin brought her collection "Eternal Minx", which was shown together with shoes from the brand "MADONNA" "Air Kiss".

Of the Belarusian designers, Belarus Fashion Week was opened by Yulia Gilevich, designer of the Fur Garden brand. Yulia's collection was previously presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, where, according to British Vogue, it was included in the top ten collections presented at this Week. There is a lot of fur and leather in Yulia's collection, the dominant color is black.

The second day of shows within Belarus Fashion Week was opened by Andrey Varashkevich (Andrey Varashkevich). He presented his collection called "The provocation of the senses", which consisted of an abundance of decor, feathers, furs, and this is not accidental, because Andrei sews clothes, both for evening outings and for the stage. Perhaps, it is in a dress from Andrei Varashkevich that one of the Belarusian stars will definitely appear at the "Slavianski Bazaar".

Historia Naturalis designers Larisa Stepanova and Polina Kartovitskaya (Belarus) presented their collection "For Faith and Fidelity!" As part of their collection, both feminine cocktail dresses and, for example, overcoats were shown.

The collection of designer Davidova (Marina Davydova) includes dresses, overalls, coats and capes of "autumn" colors.

The Tarakanova brand (designer Lyudmila Tarakanova) is the most popular brand in Belarus (among those who guess about the existence of Belarusian fashion) - some praise it, others scold it mercilessly. At Belarus Fashion Week, Lyudmila Tarakanova presented a men's collection of clothes (suits, raincoats, capes, jackets sometimes with very unexpected elements, for example, a men's shirt with a frill) in the all-outcasual style - the most daring and casual kind of casual style, allows any experiments, clothes in this style are most often used for recreation, trips to nature.

The collection from Boitsik (designer Irina Boitk) was simple and elegant; only natural fabrics were used in its creation.

Jen.

Belarusian fashion, like Belarus Fashion Week, is at the very beginning of its path, and, perhaps, this path will become long and successful. The main thing is not to forget during the watering this very flower, which has just begun to bloom.
